A Safe Space to Explore Your Thoughts and Feelings

Hello, my name is Sharon McHugh, a Therapeutic Integrative Counsellor who specialises in person-centered therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy in Billericay CM12 0HR and online.

I completely understand that seeking help can be difficult.

When you are feeling low, anxious, or overwhelmed, it is common to feel like you are all alone, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I am here to give you a safe, totally non-judgemental space in which to be yourself and be listened to, allowing you to explore any challenging thoughts and feelings you’re having.

My sessions are directed by you and what you want to discuss. You know yourself better than anyone and have the key to your happiness; I am just an instrument to guide you along that path towards feeling like yourself again. Whether you are battling with bereavement, addiction, anxiety, or self-esteem issues, we will work through your issues in a way that makes sense to you.

If you require person-centered therapy or cognitive behavioural therapy in Billericay CM12 0HR and online, get in touch for a free 15-minute consultation call.

My approach

I take an open and empathetic approach that places you at the centre of each session. This is your space to talk through anything you want, and I support you by creating an environment that is non-judgemental and allows you to speak freely. I listen closely and ask you questions that help you understand the causes behind your negative thoughts and feelings, ahead of developing ways to move past them and towards a better place.

Be in control

Seeking help is the first and most crucial step towards taking control of your happiness. My sessions are all about me enabling you to work through whatever problems you might have in your own preferred way. You are the architect of your own happiness.

No judgement

I understand that opening up to friends and family can be hard. That is why I give you a safe professional space that is totally non-judgemental and confidential, with no influences and no pressure to do anything that makes you uncomfortable.
